Handling storage & installation

I Joists are  internal joinery products, and as such are manufactured to precise moisture contents appropriate for their use. Good practice in storage and handling is essential for best results:

  • Protect at all times and keep dry before installation.
  • Support with bearers at maximum 3 meter spacings keeping them clean, level and above ground.
  • Transport I joists on edge (never flat) and do not lift by the top flange.
  • Store I Joists on edge (as in the packs) never flat.
